Sumi Perera

Sumi Perera’s artist books are an amalgam of influences from her work in the East (Sri Lanka, her native country), and the West (the United Kingdom, her adoptive country) as a doctor, scientist and artist. The content is often semi-autobiographical, using printmaking, photography and stitch to transform unique artwork into democratic multiples, which due to the slight variations she makes become 'unique multiples'.

Jewellery
Sophie Lowe

Sophie Lowe’s jewellery combines silver and paper to produce both a negative and a positive component which, when combined, form an embossed reproduction on paper. The image created by this process could be used for a card or a keepsake. Her work often includes images drawn from childhood celebrating the fact that there is a comical or sentimental image concealed within a more subtle, ‘grown up’ looking exterior.
