Making a one-off donation

This page explains the various ways you can make a one-off gift to Arnolfini. For ways to give ongoing support, follow this link back to the previous page.

Charlotte Ackrill, Development Co-ordinator can give you further information on any of the ways of giving mentioned here. Contact her on 0117 917 2313 or charlotte.ackrill@arnolfini.org.uk

Donation

You can make a donation to Arnolfini by sending a cheque made payable to Arnolfini to Charlotte Ackrill, Arnolfini, 16 Narrow Quay, Bristol, BS1 4QA.

Gift Aid

Make your donation go even further - increase the value of your contribution at no additional cost to yourself.

If you're a UK tax payer, fill in a gift aid declaration when you make your donation. This means we will receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue, for every £1 you contribute.

Leaving a gift in your will

If you would like to know more about how legacies can help our work or for practical advice about leaving money to Arnolfini in your will, please contact Charlotte Ackrill on 0117 917 2313 or charlotte.ackrill@arnolfini.org.uk

Gift of shares

We are grateful for gifts of any number of shares; whether it be a small holding of shares that could cost more to sell than their value or a large share donation.

If you donate shares to Arnolfini, you are entitled to claim back full tax relief equal to the market value of the shares on the day you make the gift, together with any associated costs such as brokers' fees. Capital gains tax on the increase in value of the shares since you bought them does not apply.

Gifts of Land or Property

Whether it be a plot of land you no longer use, or something on a larger scale, if you donate land of property to Arnolfini, you can claim full tax relief from income and capital gains tax.
