Our friends Bristol Refugee Festival are hosting an event at Arnolfini to celebrate the Arabic speaking world. We are inviting people to learn some Arabic and engage in some fun activities and learning.
Activities on the day include:
- a poetry recital.
- a talk about the Arabic language and its varieties.
- calligraphy.
There will also be:
- displays including a map of the Arabic speaking world and a map of Arabic eateries around Bristol.
- a display of language learning resources.
- clothes and jewellery to try on.
Come and join us in the Reading Room from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 1 October (doors open from 1.30pm).
It is free to drop in and families are welcome.
