The Textile Workshop

For Threads ‘Breathing stories into materials’, we’ve turned our community workshop space into a textiles workshop.

There will be knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery and darning needles, frame looms, and various threads and yarns available for you to use to start your own project.

Please feel free to have a go at creating a textiles artwork. If you don’t know where to start, have a look at our Making Cards in the Reading Room for tips, or download the Making Cards here.

Please return the tools once you’re finished so other people can use and enjoy them too!
